This 6-seater dining table with hidden storage drawers was designed by us based upon our customer's specific requirement. They were looking for a classic yet stylish table that would compliment their newly designed kitchen living area, whilst also meeting the multi functional needs of a dining table in a busy family home.
Crafted from sustainably sourced solid American Walnut and given a simple clear oil finish, all of the beautiful natural colour variations and grain shapes can still be clearly seen. This is showcased to great effect in the perfectly grain matched side panels and drawer fronts. This attention to detail is further enhanced by making a feature out of traditional cabinetry techniques like the dovetail joints used on the drawer boxes.
Designed to function as a multi use piece in a modern family home, our client wanted a made to measure dining table that could also be used as a work from home station as well as providing some clever additional storage.
The table we designed includes a number of smart features for modern family life. These include discreet wireless phone charging, an integrated power supply and a total of 6 large capacity drawers, including a cutlery drawer and one designed to house a laptop when not in use.
