Curves and more Curves…

This curved desk was the first in a series we created for a housing company in the Northwest, we used LG HI-MACS Fiery Red to create a curved privacy panel, the panel was made from separate sections that were bonded together using a special colour matched adhesive. A white Corian desk then runs into the red section creating a large usable working area. 2D Thermoforming processes were used to create the curves in the desk.

Internally a structure made from white laminated MDF was created to give stability and something for the Corian to adhere to. Cable routes were also integrated into the counter allowing data communication and power to reach computers.

We worked seamlessly with the main contractor ‘Mansell Construction‘ to install the desk counter.  All staff are trained for working on site and within the boundaries of health and safety guidelines.
